When are Premier League 2019/20 fixtures released and when does the new season start?

The 2018/19 season came to an just over three weeks ago but that hasn’t stopped us turning our attentions to the new campaign already.

Yes. It’s that time of the year again when the fixtures for the season ahead are released, prompting a flurry of activity from fans as they pore over the new schedule for their clubs.

Here, we give you the lowdown on the season ahead, including the fixtures release date, when the new campaign starts and who will be broadcasting the matches.

When are the Premier League fixtures released?

The 380 matches for the 2019/20 season will be announced on Thursday 13 June at 9am (BST). 

When does the new season begin?

It gets under way on Saturday 10 August. This means there won’t be a repeat of the Friday night start seen last year been Manchester United and Leicester.

The TV picks won’t be announced until closer to August.

How to watch the Premier League next season?

- Sky Sports (128 matches) – Sky’s coverage can also be accessed via NowTV’s monthly package deals

- BT Sport (52 matches) – Existing BT Broadband customers can use the service for an additional £5/month for the first three months

- Amazon (20 matches) – All Premier League matches will be available on Prime Video in the UK at no extra cost to Prime Membership
