When are Notts County's National League fixtures announced?

The National League have confirmed when they will announce Notts County 's fixtures for next season's campaign.

The Magpies will take a step into the unknown in three months time as their debut season in non-league football gets underway.

As one of the Football League's founder clubs, Notts had never been relegated out of the League in all their 157-year history.

But last season's horror show saw Neal Ardley's side down and out after a final day defeat to Swindon Town.

Now, as everyone begins to look ahead to a new campaign, the National League have confirmed next season's fixtures will be released on Wednesday, July 3.

The Magpies' maiden voyage into non-league will kick-off on Saturday, August 3, with the season's final day confirmed for Saturday, April 25 next year.

Notts are currently, according to the bookies, 8/1 favourites to win the division and while they will almost certainly be targeting an instant return to League Two, the National League has only one automatic promotion place.

Should they make the play-offs then next season's promotion final will be held at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, May 10.
