The memories of England's Euro 2020 campaign may still be fresh in everyone's minds, but for Gareth Southgate and Co the focus is firmly on the 2022 World Cup.
Next year's competition will take place in Qatar in November and December, and the qualifying campaign is already under way.
England lost to Italy in the final of Euro 2020, but with the young squad Southgate has at his disposal, he will be hoping they can go one better and win the World Cup, following their semi-final defeat to Croatia in 2018.
It is a different challenge from the Euros, of course, with South American sides such as Brazil and Argentina added to the mix, plus the best talent from around the world.
Then there is the factor of playing in Qatar, which will be a new experience for most.
England have to qualify first, of course, and have made a good start by winning their three group games so far.
The Three Lions are in Group I of the European qualifying section, along with Hungary, Albania, Poland, Andorra and San Marino.
The winners of the 10 groups qualify automatically, with the 10 runners-up joining two winners of the Nations League competition in a play-offs, resulting in three further sides qualifying to make 13 from Europe in total.
England are next in action in September when they face Hungary, Andorra and Poland.
