When Anthony Martial will return from injury for Manchester United

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has ruled Anthony Martial out of Manchester United's game against Arsenal on Monday night.

The Frenchman has not played for United since sustaining a hamstring injury in the home defeat by Crystal Palace last month and Solskjaer said he will not feature against Unai Emery's side.

"I don't think we'll see Anthony before the international break," Solskjaer told the United app. "Luke Shaw is improving so hopefully we'll see him.

"There might be one or two [back against Arsenal]. Paul [Pogba] was really struggling with his ankle as it was really swollen, so let's see how that repairs. He got 90 minutes [against Rochdale] but towards the end [of the game] it was sore again. Phil [Jones] will be out until after the international break and you have to count these after every game but I think that's it."

In his press conference on Friday Solskjaer also admitted Marcus Rashford is a doubt for the visit of Arsenal. Long-term absentee Eric Bailly remains sidelined.

Should Rashford miss the game against Arsenal Mason Greenwood will likely start and Solskjaer is confident the teenager has what it takes to continue to lead the line.

"He's very level-headed," Solskjaer said. "You've got to be confident when you're that age and coming into a first-team squad like we have with expectations. He's got quality, he can score (with his) right foot and left foot, and I just like watching him inside the box. He's never one to turn down a shooting chance, that's a big, big thing for a striker that you always look for the goal, and he's got us two now in his last two."
