When and where to see 60163 Tornado steam engine pass through Bristol this weekend

An impressive steam engine will pass through Bristol this weekend.

The 60163 Tornado is the first steam engine to be built in the UK since 1960 and will arrive at Bristol on Sunday morning (July 14).

It will be leaving Bristol Temple Meads at 8.05am before heading for a tour of South Wales.

After going through the Severn Tunnel at around 8.30am, it will arrive in Cardiff at 9.20am before getting into Bridgend at 9.45am.

The route will then head through Port Talbot and Swansea but there are no set timings for these locations yet.

After that, it will reach Tenby at 1.35pm where there will be an afternoon break until 3.50pm.

It will then make its journey back to Bristol, returning to Temple Meads at 9.25pm on Sunday.
