When and what time ITV Dancing on Ice 2023 is on and the line-up in full

The 'greatest show on ice' is set to return this weekend with a bunch of new celebrities lacing up their skates. Dancing on Ice will be back on screens for its 15th series with eleven new famous faces hoping to impress.

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will be back rinkside as the ITV skating show's hosts while the cast of 2022 will be closely watched by the all-star judging panel - skating legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, Diversity star Ashley Banjo and former Strictly pro Oti Mabuse.

Dancing on Ice will kick off on Sunday, January 15, at 6.30pm on ITV where the first six celebrities will perform for the judges and those watching at home. The following week, the next six stars will take to the ice and the first elimination will take place.

And this year, the series has been cut to nine weeks and each show is being reduced to 90 minutes per episode. The announcement on social media read: "New Dancing on Ice returns to ITV & ITVX on Sunday 15th at 6:30pm. This year the series is reduced to 90 minutes per episode; so rather than 6 dances in 2 hours, we’ll now have 11 dances in just an hour and a half."

But who will be taking to the ice in 2023? EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer, footballer John Fashanu, Love Island winner Ekin-Su Culculoglu, Olympic gymnast Nile Wilson, and Coronation Street star Mollie Gallagher are among those taking part.

Also completing the grand-new line-up are drag queen The Vivienne, The Wanted singer Siva Kaneswaran, reality TV star Joey Essex, comedian Darren Harriott, West End star and former Hollyoaks actress Carley Stenson, and Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton.

The 2022 run saw Regan Gascoigne, a professional dancer and the son of football legend Paul Gascoigne, emerge as the winner alongside his professional skating partner Karina Manta. The pair fought off stiff competition from former Strictly pro Brendan Cole and singer Kimberly Wyatt to lift the trophy.

Dancing On Ice returns to ITV1 and ITVX on Sunday January 15 at 6.30pm.
