Call of Duty: Warzone will be launching its new tropical map today as players say goodbye to Verdansk.
While Call of Duty: Vanguard owners will have access to the new map, called Caldera, for 24 hours before everyone else, the changes will be available to everyone after that short period.
The map is roughly the same size as Verdansk and has 15 points of interest for players to explore and battle in.
While Activision implements the new map for all players, there may be a short server shutdown to allow for some downtime.
This server shutdown took place at 5am and will last for 12 hours.
What time can I play Caldera?
Servers will come back online at 5pm by which point all players will have access to Caldera as part of the regular battle royale playlist.
The Call of Duty Blog says: “Visually, Warzone’s Pacific map will be a change of pace from the war-torn environment of Verdansk to something that is more vibrant and alive… and something with plenty of secrets hidden within its beauty.
“There are also plans for continuous and fresh experiences throughout your time in the Pacific. […] The result is a fun and incredibly compelling gameplay space with numerous points of interest to explore and an exceptional depth of combat potential.”
