Shoppers will be able to get their hands on fresh turkeys from Aldi and Lidl in the week running up to Christmas.
Both of the supermarkets stock a range of turkeys that customers can buy and keep in the freezer now, but those who do not have the space or want a fresh turkey without having to defrost it can buy them in-store from late December.
While there have been reports of a potential turkey shortage this Christmas, Lidl is confident about stocks, telling customers reading its website that there is "no need" to pre-book to secure a festive roast.

Both Aldi and Lidl will offer a range of turkeys, including whole birds and crowns to fit up to 15 Christmas dinner guests.
When will Aldi and Lidl be selling fresh turkeys in time for Christmas?
Aldi says shoppers can pick up turkeys now and freeze them, but those who prefer to wait can pick up its full range of fresh turkeys and crowns from Sunday, December 19.
Lidl's fresh turkeys and turkey crowns, including its deluxe range, will be on sale from Sunday, December 19 as well.
Expect both supermarkets to be stocking a wide range of festive foods, including pigs and blankets, potatoes and sauces.
Can you pre-order turkeys from Aldi or Lidl?
Lidl says there is "no need" to pre-order as the Christmas turkeys will be in stock from December 19 and can be picked up in-store then.
Aldi allows shoppers to book collection slots.
Aldi says shoppers will be able to reserve turkeys for collection between December 19 and December 23, once those slots go live.
