Wheelchair-bound teen disfigured in housefire 'shoots man and dumps body in desert'

A teenager who was left badly disfigured in a housefire when he was a toddler is accused of shooting a man and dumping his body in the desert.

Michael Miller, 19, who has been wheelchair-bound since the fire in 2003, was arrested after Raul Salazar's body was found wrapped in a sleeping bag in Nevada, USA.

A post mortem confirmed Mr Salazar, 47, died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Las Vegas police said evidence indicated that Mr Salazar was murdered elsewhere and his body was taken to the remote area.

Miller was arrested four days later and taken into custody.

He now faces one count of murder.

Robert Miller, the defendant's uncle told the Las Vegas Review Journal that his nephew was severely burned and disabled in a fire when he was only three years old. A four year old girl died in the fire.

Teenager Michael Miller will appear in court on Friday.
