A Scots mum has told of her horror after a 'creepy' stranger Whats App called her son's phone and 'flashed' his body at him.
The 41-year-old um, who doesn't want to be identified, said the man had managed to infiltrate her 10-year-old son's group video call and was caught lifting his shirt up and showing his bare skin.
Shockingly the Paisley mum says it's not the first time the man has joined her son and his pals in a group call and fears one of the other kids has innocently added him in, not realising the dangers.
She said is speaking out over fears he is grooming them.
Speaking anonymously to The Record to protect her son's identity, she said: "The first time it happened the man was telling the kids to add their friends. My son told me about it, so when he called back I took the phone and asked him what he was doing.
"He was a big horrible guy and was lifting his top and flashing his body to the camera. I actually feel sick at the thought of that big fat creep looking at our children. This is how they pull children into their horrible life.
'He stayed on the call for about 30-40 seconds of me calling him a creep and a paedophile and telling him he was talking to 10 and 12-year-old children, but once I said I was contacting the police he hung up.
"The while time he didn't say a word."
The mum says her partner took a note of the man's number and after researching it seemed to be a number based somewhere in Iran.
The couple immediately blocked it from their son's phone.
The mum says she is warning other mums of kids who were on the call, but says she has had to sit down with her son and explain the dangers of social media and strangers.
She said: "I had to sit him down and explain what a paedophile really is and what they actually do and also about paedophile rings. It's not a conversation I wanted to have with him at 10-years-old, and I think I have scared him. I'm just glad he shouted me straight away when he seen his face."
