We all love a group chat, but a new feature in Whatsapp will change the way you use them forever.
The chats allow users to message various people at once, but any replies you send can be seen by everyone in the conversation - which can create problems if you hit the eye-rolling emoji and press send.
However, there's now a way for users to reply to comments privately without everyone knowing.
As well as sparing your blushes, it can also make it easier to follow replies in a group chat with lots of members.
WhatsApp subtly introduced the feature earlier this year, but it's now up for grabs for users on all iPhones and Android phones.
There's just one snag - you need to download the latest version of the App to be able to use it.
How do I use it?
Simply open a group chat on WhatsApp and long press on one of the speech bubbles.
If you have an iPhone, a menu will appear above the speech bubble.
Then you need to select the "... More" option followed by "Reply Privately".
If you're an Android user, the menu will appear at the top of the screen.
You'll be required to select the three dots in the top right hand corner to access the "Reply Privately" option.
If you click on this you'll be transported to a private chat window between you and the person you've chosen to reply to.
When you do this, the message you wanted to respond to will be quoted above your response so the recipient will know what your message refers to.

This means the process of replying to people privately in group chats has become much easier and you no longer have to exit the chat to talk to someone about an arising matter privately.
If you tap the quoted message within your private chat this will also enable you to quickly return back to the group convo.
