'Whats yer tips?' Moment cheeky Scottish Grand National race goer interrupts expert live on air

This is the hilarious moment a cheeky Scots punter interrupts a live racing broadcast to ask expert Matt Chapman for his tips.

The well recognised ITV host was giving his views on the ponies on camera ahead of the Scottish Grand National at Ayr when the reveller came into shot and decided he fancied his 15 minutes of fame.

As Matt runs through his picks for each of day's races, the slightly tipsy looking attendee puts his arm around him, much to the presenter's surprise.

He then asks: "What's your tips for today Matt?"

Chapman, being a good sport, replies: "I'm just doing my market movers at the moment mate, come back in a minute and I'll give you a proper one."

The racing reporter previous revealed he dreads working at Ayr on Scottish national day.

It came during a fun-filled, sun-soaked day on the west coast, as race-goers turned out in force dressed to the nines for the big day.

The lovely ladies modelled some incredible outfits, from colourful dresses to fabulous fascinators paired with equally jaw-dropping heels.

Not to be outshone, the boys equally got into the spirit of the day, sporting some very dapper suits as the drinks flowed today.

There were two home hopes in the showpiece race, with Geronimo and Big River trained by Scottish trainers as they flew the Saltire.

But it was Takingrisks who romped home to victory, with jockey Nicky Richard's riding the race of his life to scoop the grand prize at 25-1.
