What Zlatan Ibrahimovic has done on Instagram amid talk of Leeds United transfer

What does the future hold for ex-Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic?

The 38-year-old has been nothing short of a revelation at AC Milan since returning to the club in the January transfer window, netting 10 goals and weighing in with five assists in 18 Serie A appearances.

However, it would appear that the Swede won't be sticking around in Italy when his short-term deal expires at the end of the month, meaning he will be available on a free transfer.

"I still have three games, still 10 days, nobody said anything to me and I don’t expect anything else," he said last month . "There are things that we cannot control, but that seems strange to me, but we are doing great things.

"We play with great confidence and we believe in what we do.

"I’m working, I’m fine, the team is fine and doing good things.

"When I arrived we are second or third in the standings, it means it is not bad."

Leeds United are one of the clubs to have been linked with a move for Ibrahimovic as head coach Marcelo Bielsa looks to bolster his attacking options ahead of the 2020/21 season.

And in true Ibrahimovic fashion, he's enjoying all the talk surrounding his future.

The striker has posted a cryptic image on his Instagram stories which could be transfer related.

Traveling on what one would assume is a boat, the caption reads: 'Next destination'. Could he be heading to Elland Road for talks with Victor Orta and Andrea Radrizzani?

With that said, Radrizzani has already suggested that signing Ibrahimovic is unlikely.

"Ibrahimovic will certainly be difficult," he told Sky Sports Italy last month. "We tried to sign him in January, but he chose to join Milan and the deal vanished.

"Now I think it's too late, the intensity of English football is different."
