Some McDonald’s locations are once again offering Halloween-themed coupon booklets (aka “Treats Packs”) that act as non-candy giveaways or low-cost treats you can hand out (or keep). If you want to get in on the fun, there are some things you need to know. Here’s what has been revealed so far.
What’s Inside/What’s Included
The 2025 Halloween Treats Pack includes 12 coupons in total. According to one flyer circulated online, the coupon breakdown is:
- 2 × Free Apple Slices
2 × Free Apple Juice or Milk Jug
2 × Free Hamburger
2 × Free Vanilla (soft-serve) Cone
Note: in past years, some versions of the booklets used different mixes – like apple slices, small vanilla cones, apple juice/milk, hamburgers. The “value” of the 2025 booklet is estimated to be around $27.48 (when you sum the retail prices of all 12 items) in the example published online.
How Much Does the 2025 McDonald’s Halloween Coupon Booklet Cost?

In 2025, many sources report that the Treats Packs will cost $2 at participating McDonald’s locations. Some local listings say the price may range from $1 to $5, depending on location. The coupon packs started showing up in stores in mid-September 2025.
Again, availability is limited and is up to each franchised location — not every McDonald’s will necessarily sell them.
When Do the McDonald’s Coupon Booklets Expire?
The coupons are valid October 31 through December 31, 2025. Only children aged 12 and under may redeem the coupons.
You may only redeem one free item per child, per visit (one coupon per visit per child) in many cases. Coupons may be redeemable at any participating McDonald’s (not just where you bought the pack) — though the booklet must have been purchased in participating locations.
What’s Changed From Previous Years?
In the past, there were more items available in the coupon booklet (4 small cones, 4 apple dippers, 4 apple juice/milk). That is no longer the standard in 2025. Additionally, the price has gone up. Not long ago, you would have been able to snag these for free. Now, you’ll probably pay around $2.
The redemption window is basically the same as it was in the past, and the other rules (only kids 12 and under and one per visit) are the same as previous years.
Scoring Your McDonald’s Halloween Coupon Booklet
Call your local McDonald’s ahead of time to ask whether they’re offering the Halloween Treats Pack this year and when they expect to have them in stock. It’s important to ask how many coupons are in the packet and which items. Some franchises may carry slightly different versions. You should also confirm the price locally (it may be $1, $2, or more, depending on the area).
Keep your booklet safe — you’ll have to bring the coupon with you when redeeming. Ensure that when redeeming, the child is present (some restaurants may enforce that). Happy couponing!
