A number of council areas in Scotland will move down to Level 1 lockdown restrictions from this Saturday, the First Minister has announced.
Due to the low number of cases and hospitalisations the majority of the council areas across the country will shift to the second lowest level in the Scottish Government system.
SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon urged caution as she announced a review of the levels currently in force in Scotland.
With a move down to Level 1 it means new freedoms for a large number of Scots.
Here's what you can and can't do in Level 1 lockdown:
What you can do
Social meeting:
Up to six people from three households can meet in a home and stay overnight.
In indoor public places, such as pubs, restaurants and cafes, up to eight people from three households can meet.
Twelve people from 12 households will be allowed to meet up in a garden or in a public place.
You will be able to travel anywhere in Scotland and the rest of the United Kingdom.
People will be allowed to attend weddings and funerals where up to 100 guests will be permitted.
Hospitality:
Pubs, restaurants and cafe will be allowed to open indoors and outdoors till 11pm.
Alcohol will be permitted to be served as well.
You should stay at least two metres apart from people from other households at all times, unless the venue is operating one metre distancing due to additional measures being in place to avoid transmission.
Stadium and events:
There will be a maximum capacity of 1,000 spectators at outdoor seated and open space events.
Outdoor grouped standing events are advised to operate with a maximum capacity of 500 people.
While, small seated indoor events are advised to operate with a maximum of 200 people.
Sports and exercise:
All organised outdoor sports, personal training and coaching are permitted, provided appropriate safety measures are followed.
However, indoor contact sports are not permitted, except for professional sport.
What you can't do
All nightclubs and adult entertainment venues have to remain closed.
