Two wrestling superstars have shared their exploits in Nottingham on social media while visiting the city for a show.
Mercedes Varnado, known to wrestling fans as Sasha Banks, and Natalie Neidhart-Wilson, who goes by the wrestling name Natalya, took photos of themselves enjoying the attractions of the city centre.
The stars, who have 4.4 million Twitter followers between them, were in Nottingham for the WWE event at the Motorpoint Arena on Tuesday, November 9.
Sasha Banks posted a picture of herself inside the Kitty Cafe on Friar Lane, Nottingham on Twitter, in which she said: "I’m having the best day ever. Thank you #WWENottingham."
While fellow WWE star Natalya shared a picture of the pair posing next to the Robin Hood statue outside of Nottingham Castle.
In a Twitter post before the Nottingham show, she said: "We love Nottingham! Almost showtime... #WWENottingham."
Natalya also thanked a fan who she met during her time in the city.
The fan, who posted a picture of the two on Twitter, said: "Honestly was so happy to meet @NatbyNature today.
"She was the sweetest and it felt so surreal considering I’ve watched her since I was little.
"You’re incredible Nattie. Thank you for today."
WWE superstar Sheamus previously had shared his thoughts on "sleeping giants" Nottingham Forest during an interview with Nottinghamshire Live.
