Last season, the Pittsburgh Steelers finished at 9-6-1 and missed the playoffs for only the third time in the last nine seasons. The entire team was in a state of turmoil and frankly were fortunate to do as well as they did. But looking ahead to 2019, the Steelers have divested themselves from the drama of last season and hope to be focused on just football.
But for the fans, what would constitute a successful season? This is the question we ask today.
For us, it’s all about getting back to the playoffs. The AFC North is going to be highly competitive this season so winning the North and getting back into the playoffs is the top priority. It might only be nine wins because these teams are going to beat each other up.
