What would you ask US citizens about Clinton, Trump and the election?

There seems to be little doubt that the current US presidential election has featured one of the more discussed campaigns ever beyond the country’s borders. Donald Trump’s rise to become the Republican nominee has energised some voters and terrified others, and Hillary Clinton, the first female US presidential nominee, is far from a shoo-in come November. She is still to win over all of Bernie Sanders’ supporters, and there are still those emails.

Have you ever wanted to understand more about why US citizens are backing Trump or Clinton? What is it about Trump that has galvanised his vocal group of supporters? Why does Clinton continue to struggle with the likability factor? Are you confused by the US election process? Whatever your question, we want to hear from you.

If you have a question for our US readers, please submit it using the form below. We’ll select some of the most interesting contributions and ask our US readers to respond.

We’re also asking our global audience to respond to questions from US readers about how they view the current US political climate. If you’d like to get involved, please fill out the form below, and you could be contacted about sharing your views.
