Paris Saint-Germain are preparing to price Real Madrid out of a move for Kylian Mbappe this summer.
The World Cup winner has been continually linked with moves to the Reds and Real for some time now.
Mbappe’s contract at the Le Parc des Princes is due to expire next summer and recent reports have indicated that the forward may opt for a new challenge next season.
The Frenchman scored a breathtaking 42 goals in 47 games last season, but there appears to be little progress in contract extension talks with PSG chiefs.
The club's president Nasser Al-Khelaifi recently provided an update on the forward’s future and was adamant that Mbappe will not be leaving his club this summer.
He said: “I will be clear, Mbappe is going to stay in Paris. We will never sell him and he will never leave on a free. Mbappe has everything he needs in Paris. Where can he go? What club, in terms of ambition, can compete with PSG today?
“All I can say is that things are going well, and I hope we can reach an agreement. This is Paris, this is his country. He has a mission, not only to play football, but to promote Ligue 1, his country and his capital.”
And now Spanish transfer expert Jesus Gallego believes Real hopes of signing Mbappe this summer have already been dashed.

"Real Madrid are not going to sign anyone this summer, I only had the hope of signing Mbappe and they have already seen that it is impossible,” he told AS via the Express.
“What worries Madrid the most is that the offer that they [PSG] are going to make to the Mbappe family to renew is going to be unmatchable by others.
“No one is going to be able to say 'no' to that offer. The richest family in the world is going to do everything possible to make it stay there.”
While Mbappe recently provided an update on his future, saying: “I have to make the right decision, which is difficult, and give myself every chance to decide well.
“I am in a place where I like myself, feel good. But is it the best place for me? I don't have the answer yet”.
