What will the weather be like for Pink's gig in Cardiff?

After several weeks of hosting big gigs in the city centre, Cardiff is about to host another huge name - Pink.

But, as the American singer famed for her empowering lyrics and breathtaking acrobatics prepares to Get The party Started at the Principality Stadium on Thursday, June 20 , it remains to be seen what the weather will be like on the day.

Well, fans heading into the capital to watch the 39-year-old perform on the UK leg of her Beautiful Trauma wold tour can relax, the forecast predicts it's going to be fine.

More than 50,000 fans will be expected in the capital (Andrew MacPherson Macfly Corp)

According to BBC Weather, Cardiff will see some light cloud and a moderate breeze for most of the day, with the chance of some sunny intervals from about 6pm.

There will only be a nine per cent chance of rain.

It's going to be another busy one for the city centre though - which has just hosted concerts by Spice Girls,  Take That  and Elton John - with all the usual road closures in place by the time the doors open at 5.30pm.

Pink announces Cardiff date for European tour

South Yorkshire band  Bang Bang Romeo will be on stage first, followed by Australian singer-songwriter, Vance Joy.

Pink will then hit the stage at 8.25pm.
