The preserved good looks of this corner house on the outskirts of Ipswich has earned it a Grade II-listing, which will impede daring ambitions. But if five bedrooms and four receptions cramp your style you can probably persuade the planners to let you convert the adjoining coach house from a garage back to the annexe it once was.
