What West Ham supporters sang at Leicester City as Declan Rice sent clear transfer message

West Ham United fans had a clear message for Declan Rice after seeing what could have been his last Premier League game for the club.

Rice started and played the full 90 minutes as West Ham lost out 2-1 against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on the final day of the Premier League season, with goals from Harvey Barnes and Wout Faes helping the Foxes to victory, despite Pablo Fornals halving the deficit.

It was a result that ultimately proved in vain for the hosts, who were relegated from the Premier League after Everton held on for a 1-0 win against Bournemouth at Goodison Park.

And West Ham fans were quick to take the chance to mock their rivals, with several chants from the away end as news filtered through to the King Power Stadium of Everton's victory.

The list of chants included 'say hello to Millwall' and 'cheerio' as Leicester fans made their way out of the ground, while West Ham fans had also been in good spirits during the game, with more than one rendition of 'We're going to Prague, you're going down' as they taunted the Foxes fans, with reference to the Hammers' upcoming Europa Conference League final against Fiorentina in Prague next month.

But West Ham's supporters did not just make their feelings clear on that as they sent a strong message to captain Rice at the end of the game.

As the West Ham players made their way over to the travelling supporters, the Hammers' faithful chanted loudly 'one more year' in the direction of Rice, who has been strongly linked with a summer move away from the club, amid reported interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.

Rice responded with his usual applause for the supporters, while he was one of several West Ham players to take off their shirts and give to fans in the away end.

The England international will have at least one more game in the claret and blue in the final of the Europa Conference League, but West Ham fans made it clear they wanted one more year - if not six or ten - as they jokingly followed up the chant with verses of 'six more years' and 'ten more years'.
