What Watford's Troy Deeney has in store for Prince William ahead of FA Cup final meeting

The opportunity to meet a member of the Royal family is an honour by anybody's standards.

Watford captain Troy Deeney will be leading his side to meet Prince William at Wembley Stadium on Saturday evening, but while everyone else will be on their best behaviour, Deeney has something else planned.

The heir to the throne is a famous Aston Villa fan, but with the Hornets skipper coming from the blue half of Birmingham he says that he'll find it hard to resist a bit of banter with the Prince.

The Watford team that Javi Gracia is expected to name against Man City in the FA Cup final

Speaking to ESPN he said: "I'm a Blues fan and he's a Villa fan so, I'll give him a bit of stick for that.

"Everyone's telling me not to, but I think I'm going to have to.”

Hopefully Deeney's banter will be well received otherwise it could be very awkward if the Watford skipper goes to lift the FA Cup after the match.
