What was Jalen Rose doing shouting from the sidelines during 76ers-Pistons?

Jalen Rose is still finding ways to contribute to the Detroit Pistons organization, even after 13 years in retirement.

The former Pistons star and current NBA analyst stood from his seat at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on Saturday night to yell during one of Detroit’s offensive possessions against the Philadelphia 76ers.

It’s not clear what Rose was saying. UPROXX’s Andy Isaac, who took the video, suggested Rose was taunting the Sixers. That’s easy to imagine. He’s the man who trash talked Michael Jordon — Rose could probably conjure a few biting words for this Philly squad. Then again, Rose may have been simply cheering or coaching the Pistons. Unfortunately for Rose, the 76ers defeated the Pistons, 114-111, led by a combined 52 points from Tobias Harris and Al Horford.

There didn’t seem to be hard feelings between Rose and the Sixers after the game. A photo (see above) showed that Rose approached Horford on the court for a quick chat.

Rose’s efforts were quite the spectacle. It’s odd to see an analyst look like such a fan. But Rose’s chirping or coaching was no match for The Process.
