Wales' best rugby players are sharing their summer holiday snaps as George North celebrates stag do in style

Wales' rugby players have been enjoying a hard-earned rest as they kick off their summer holidays ahead of World Cup preparations.

Players have been enjoying family holidays, stag dos, beachside breaks and quality time with loved ones after their season has come to an end.

For those involved in Wales' World Cup training preparations, each player will be permitted a four-week after their season came to an end to get sufficient rest ahead of an arduous summer regime

That means much of Warren Gatland's 42-man training squad won't arrive in camp until the middle of June, although some players head into training this week.

Here's a look at how some of Wales' best rugby players have been spending their summer holidays so far.

Jonathan Davies has been enjoying a road trip with his partner Louise, taking in the sights of the Grand Canyon in Arizona, a pool party in Las Vegas and hiking in Canada's Vancouver.

The above holiday snap has even prompted Davies' younger brother James 'Cubby' Davies to offer some dietary advice to his sibling, commenting: "Eat a piece of bread ffs".

George North is one of a handful of rugby stars tying the knot this summer, as is Gareth Anscombe and Thomas Young.

After getting engaged to Olympic medallist Becky James around Christmas 2017, the couple are due to get hitched this summer.

The pair have enjoyed a break in Marbella ahead of the nuptials, while the Ospreys wing had his stag do at the weekend in Monaco with the likes of Scott Williams and Sam Warburton - in time for the Monaco Grand Prix.

Elsewhere, after becoming a father to daughter Lily back in January, Leigh Halfpenny and his partner Jess have enjoyed a break in the sun in Portugal.

Snaps shared by the pair on Instagram show the family-of-three enjoying the sunshine and beachside dinners.

Elsewhere, Halfpenny has been pictured playing golf on the Algarve alongside the likes of Scottish rugby player Samuel Hidalgo-Clyne Samuel Hidalgo-Clyne and Swansea City's Tom Carroll.

Hadleigh Parkes has enjoyed travelling around Bordeaux with his elder brother, before heading home to New Zealand with his wife Suzy.

Cardiff Blues' Dillon Lewis has been spending some time in Amsterdam with ex-Blues teammate Harry Robinson , sharing a snap of the pair in front of one of the Netherlands capital's canals.

Finally, Ross Moriarty has enjoyed a trip to Mexico's beachside resort Cancun. He is one of six Dragons players expected to arrive in training camp to begin Wales' World Cup training preparations this week.
