Unai Emery has bemoaned a 15-minute spell that he felt cost Arsenal in the 2-1 defeat against Eintracht Frankfurt this evening (Thursday).
The Gunners missed the opportunity to secure their qualification for the knockout stages of the Europa League as they were beaten 2-1 at home by the Bundesliga side at the Emirates Stadium.
That was despite Arsenal taking the lead on the stroke of half time, thanks to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
But two goals from Daichi Kamada turned the game around in Frankfurt's favour, heaping the pressure on Emery in the process.
And the Arsenal boss spoke about the impact of the defeat on the players, the fans and his own future in an interview with BT Sport after the game.
"We lose the control in 15 minutes and then we couldn't change the result," he said.
"We prove that in the first half we controlled the game and we were winning 1-0. The first five or ten minutes in the second half was positive, but in 15 minutes we lost the control and they scored two goals.
"In the last 20 minutes we tried to come back, but we didn't create an opportunity.
"They [the fans] heard the players and also Granit Xhaka. In the last moment we were losing and they were disappointed, which is understandable.
Emery was criticised by fans for his substitutions in the game, having replaced David Luiz, Gabriel Martinelli and Shkodran Mustafi with Matteo Guendouzi, Mesut Ozil and Lucas Torreira respectively.
That was despite having Alexandre Lacazette and Nicolas Pepe on the bench, but Emry moved to explain his substitutions and whether or not he could have made more positive changes.
"Yes, but we had some injuries and had to change David Luiz, and Shkodran Mustafi, and we had to change them," he said.
"[Granit] Xhaka wanted to continue playing. I think his game was good and he really played well.

Emery insisted that he is not thinking about his own position though, and instead what lies ahead for the Gunners.
"I am with that situation, being positive, but also realistic. We lost an opportunity to win that match, and we lost the opportunity to get to the next round, but we have another opportunity at Liege.
"I was only thinking the match, and now the next match [at Norwich."
