What TV channel is Watford vs Newcastle on and can I watch it for free?

Newcastle United start their final four Premier League fixtures of the season this lunchtime when they take on Watford at the Vicarage Road.

The Magpies had been out of action for over three months after English football was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic but have made a decent return to action.

Steve Bruce's side have only lost once since the Premier League restarted - Wednesday's 5-0 defeat to Man City - having backed up comprehensive wins over Sheffield United and Bournemouth with home draws against Aston Villa and West Ham.

Watford will prove a difficult task, however, with Nigel Pearson's side desperate for points in their bid to escape relegation.

Their 2-1 win over fellow strugglers Norwich on Tuesday was their first since the restart, following defeats to Southampton, Burnley and Chelsea and a draw with Leicester.

All Premier League games are available to watch on television between now and the end of the season so despite fans not being allowed into stadiums, they can still follow all of the action from their sofas.

Matches will be spread between the Premier League's UK broadcast partners - Sky Sports, BT Sport, Amazon Prime Video and BBC - with 33 of the final 92 games available on free-to-air TV.

The clash between Watford and Newcastle will be broadcast live, free to air on Amazon.

You do not need an Amazon Prime subscription to watch.

Alex Green, managing director of Prime Video Sport Europe, said: "Like the rest of the country, we are excited to see the Premier League return to action.

"We will be making all four of Amazon Prime Video's additional fixtures in the 2019-20 season available free of charge; fans will not need a Prime membership to view the games on Prime Video."

Coverage begins at 12pm with the action getting under way at 12.30pm.
