What TV channel is Spurs vs Man City on? Team news, kick-off time, odds and predictions

Man City's FA Cup semi-final against Brighton on Saturday couldn't have been any more routine but it's very unlikely Tuesday's Champions League quarter-final will follow suit.

Despite Spurs' recent patch of inconsistency they have been hugely impressive in the Champions League and will also be buoyed by home support in their brand-new stadium.

It's been well over two years since Spurs beat Manchester City in a competitive match, a 2-0 win in the league in October 2016.

When the teams met in the league at Wembley earlier this season City won 1-0 thanks to a goal from Riyad Mahrez after six minutes.

A 1-0 win on Tuesday would be perfect for City because the away goal rule still applies here, even though the teams play in the same domestic compeititions.

Team news for Spurs vs Man City

Nearly all the talk ahead of this game has been if Argentine striker Sergio Aguero will be fit enough to be in the squad.

Aguero was left out of City's matchday squad in the weekend's FA Cup semi-final win over Brighton but was pictured training at Charlton Athletic yesterday alongside Fabian Delph. His return would be a boost for Guardiola, who will want to take back a positive result to the Etihad for the second leg.

Speaking on the possibility of Aguero participating, Pep said: "He feels better, he trained with the team for the first time and feels better."

Despite a comfortable win over Cardiff last week at the Etihad it was noticeable how many big chances Gabriel Jesus missed and City may not have that luxury on Tuesday night.

Speaking on City's recent results, Pep had this to say at his Monday press conference: "I don’t know how fresh we are, I never know before, our minds control our legs, I don’t agree our performances aren’t acceptable. The FA Cup we could have been better, we know how tough it is."
