What TV channel is Shrewsbury vs Newcastle U21 on and how can I watch it live?

Newcastle United Under-21s begin their EFL Trophy campaign tonight when they travel to take on Shrewsbury in their first group match.

The young Magpies are in Group C in the Northern section of the competition, along with Bolton and Crewe Alexandra.

Kick-off tonight is 5.30pm, and with fans still locked out due to the ongoing impact of the coronavirus, the match is being made available for fans to watch at a cost.

While the game is not on TV, fans can stream the game - legally - for £10 on the EFL's official streaming platform. You can click here for access to the platform. You will need to sign up for an account before the game.

The coverage is with a single camera and does include commentary. The price has been set by the EFL independent of Newcastle United.

All fixtures in the EFL Trophy will be available in this way with the return of spectators still potentially months away.

We will also be carrying live coverage on our liveblog, with update and analysis as they happen.
