What TV channel is Sheffield Wednesday vs Man City on? Kick-off time, team news, predictions

Manchester City can take one step closer to retaining their FA Cup trophy by beating Sheffield Wednesday in the fifth round.

City continued their dominance in English competitions with their Carabao Cup victory at the weekend, making it six domestic trophies in a row, and eight of the last nine available.

That record will come to an end when Liverpool win the Premier League before the end of the season, but City can make a big statement if they were to win the next trophy on offer - the FA Cup.

Pep Guardiola's side have beaten Port Vale and Fulham so far this season, and the lower league opposition keep coming in the form of Sheffield Wednesday. Guardiola could make changes to his side with the Manchester derby at Old Trafford on Sunday in the Premier League.

Team news for Sheffield Wednesday vs Manchester City

City could make changes with the tip to Manchester United in mind at the weekend.

Claudio Bravo should keep his place in goal as the cup goalkeeper, with Eric Garcia possibly coming into defence having played the last two rounds.

Phil Foden will want to continue his form following his Man of the Match display in the cup final, with some of the players who were on the bench at Wembley potentially coming back into the side.

Aymeric Laporte is expected to miss out through injury, and Leroy Sane might not feature after he made his first appearance since coming back from injury for the U23s last Friday.
