What TV channel is Manchester United vs Newcastle United on? TV info, live stream & more

Premier League football returns this weekend after a two-week international break and there's set to be plenty of attention on proceedings at Old Trafford.

Manchester United's hosting of Newcastle United could include the small matter of Cristiano Ronaldo's second debut for the club, following his Deadline Day move from Juventus.

United 's start to the season has been impressive, securing a comfortable victory over Leeds United and edging past Wolves last time out - with both wins coming either side of a goalless draw with Southampton.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side will be favourites to secure another win against Newcastle and we've got everything you need to know about the game below.

Is Manchester United vs Newcastle United on TV?

Unfortunately, Manchester United's clash with Newcastle United is not being televised in the UK due to the 3pm blackout rules.

That means that many fans will be unable to watch the potential second debut of Cristiano Ronaldo as it happens, unless you're fortunate to have tickets for the tie at Old Trafford.

Thankfully, there are a number of other ways to help you keep up with all the action.

How can I follow the game?

Here at MEN Sport, we'll have up-to-date coverage directly from Old Trafford via our live blog and through our social media platforms.

BBC Radio 5 Live will also have live commentary for the clash, which is also available to listen to online and via the BBC Sounds App.

How can I watch highlights?

The Sky Sports app is the first place you can watch highlights of the game after the final whistle, with footage available from 5:15pm.

In the evening, BBC's Match of the Day will showcase extended highlights of the game and the rest of the action from the Premier League.

The show starts at 10:40pm on BBC One and is repeated on Sunday morning, before being available on the BBC iPlayer later this week.
