What TV channel is Manchester United vs Liverpool on? TV, stream, kick-off time, early team news

Manchester United welcome Liverpool to Old Trafford on Thursday evening for the much anticipated re-arranged Premier League fixture.

United were supposed to host the Merseyside club on Sunday, May 2, but anti-Glazer protests at Old Trafford and outside the team hotel caused the game to be postponed.

Due to this, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men will now play their fourth game in just eight days, which forced the Norwegian into making a host of changes for Tuesday night's defeat to Leicester City.

Here is all of the key information you need to know ahead of United vs Liverpool.

What TV channel is United vs Liverpool on?

The Premier League clash will be shown live on Sky Sports Main Event (with the fake crowd noise) and Sky Sports Premier League (without the fake crowd noise).

The pre-match coverage gets underway at 8pm, just 15 minutes before the game is scheduled to kick off at 8:15pm.

You will require a Sky Sports subscription to watch the game live, which you can find more information about here.

Can I stream United vs Liverpool?

Yes. You can stream the match live via the Sky Go app - which is available on Apple and Android devices.

What is the early team news?

Dean Henderson is expected to return in goal after David de Gea played in United's 2-1 loss to Leicester on Tuesday.

However, Harry Maguire is ruled out, after the centre-back suffered ankle ligament damage in the weekend's win over Aston Villa.

For Liverpool, defender Ozan Kabak has been ruled out by Jurgen Klopp ahead of the short trip to Manchester.

Long-term absentees include Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Joel Matip and Jordan Henderson.
