Brighton, on the other hand, prepared for the game by being soundly beaten 3-0 by Chelsea. Chris Hughton played a strong side and only rotated his attackers.
Solly March suffered a calf injury and had to be withdrawn.

He is a doubt for Saturday as is Jurgen Locadia and influential play-maker Pascal Gross will miss out with a hamstring injury.
A victory would see City through to the tournament's final on May 18, to face either Watford or Wolves, and make the dream of the quadruple even closer to becoming reality.
