What TV channel is Man City v Newcastle United on? Live stream, kick-off time and team news

Man City continue their festive schedule on Boxing Day as they host Newcastle United in a game that will be shown live on BT Sport 1.

Pep Guardiola's side will be looking to continue their positive recent form and make it 10 games unbeaten in all competitions.

Both teams were in Carabao Cup action on Tuesday evening, with City comfortably seeing off Arsenal and Newcastle putting in a dire performance in a 1-0 loss to Championship side Brentford.

Yet, despite Steve Bruce's style of football coming in for plenty of criticism at St James' Park, the Magpies currently sit 12th, with 18 points from 13 games.

City, meanwhile, are four places above their Boxing Day opponents, with 23 points.

A win for City could move them into the top four, depending on results elsewhere.
