The Whites host Villa just four days after their 3-0 win over Southampton in Yorkshire, which lifted them back into the top half of the top-flight table.

However, Dean Smith's side have won just two of their last six Premier League games and travel to Leeds - who have shown some great form at Elland Road recently.

What is the early Leeds United vs Aston Villa team news?

Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa will be without Rodrigo Moreno and Kalvin Phillips for the visit of Villa this weekend.

Bielsa confirmed in his press conference on Thursday that Rodrigo (groin) and Phillips (calf) will remain out for the clash.

However, the Argentine admitted Mateusz Klich's recovery is going well after he limped off in Tuesday's win against Southampton.

Klich was holding his hip in clear discomfort in midweek when walking off the pitch at Elland Road, but a decision on whether he will feature against Villa is yet to be made.

For Villa, Matty Cash and Kortney Hause remain sidelined through injuries.

Jack Grealish is considered a major doubt for the trip to Yorkshire, but has not been completely ruled out yet.
