Manchester United must bounce back from the disappointment of being dumped out of the Champions League by Barcelona when they travel to Everton in the Premier League on Sunday.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had some stern words for his players in his pre-match press conference, saying: "There's some that need to get a reality check of where they're at."

United are in need of a victory in order to stay hot on the tails on those above them in the race for the top four but the trip Goodison Park may not be a walk in the park.

The Toffees have begun to find their feet under Marco Silva and in their last three home games they have beaten Chelsea and Arsenal and held Liverpool to a 0-0 draw.

Team news for Everton vs Manchester United

United have been boosted ahead of the Everton clash as several players are near a return to full fitness.

Alexis Sanchez and Nemanja Matic are both in contention for Premier League returns after their lengthy lay-offs.

Ander Herrera and Eric Bailly have also returned to training, though they are not expected to be available for Sunday.

Luke Shaw is unavailable through suspension.
