Former Dublin star Diarmuid Connolly: “To be totally honest I can see a similar thing happening to Cavan that happened to Meath in the Leinster SFC final.

"I’m hoping that’s not the case. Cavan like to come in as the underdogs and have turned over two Division 1 sides already in Monaghan and Donegal, but I really can’t see anything stopping Dublin.

"The hunger they have for places, the personal they have and the way they are playing. They are streets ahead of everyone at the moment."

Betting odds

Cavan win: 18/1

Dublin win: 1/100

Draw: 33/1
