Aston Villa take on Sheffield United tonight in what will be the first Premier League match to take place since March.
The top-flight campaign has been on hold for more than three months as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
But the 2019/20 season will restart with Villa taking on the Blades.
The fixture at Villa Park gets underway at 6pm on Wednesday, June 17.
It will be shown live exclusively by Sky Sports. Coverage on their Premier League and Main Event channels begins at 4:30pm, 90 minutes before kick-off.
Main Event is channel 401 on Sky while Premier League is channel 402.
Chris Wilder's men are currently seventh in the table with 10 matches remaining while Dean Smith's Villa side are 19th, although they will move out of the relegation zone with victory over the Blades.
"It is an honour [to be the first game], the eyes of the world will be on us and we are looking forward to it," said Smith.
“The players feel comfortable and safe, and thankfully nobody at this football club has tested positive.
“We’re all set to go now. They are really looking forward to it, they just want to play football.”
And his opposite number Wilder said: "From a management point of view you have to adapt.
"We have played the odd behind closed doors game and looking at the Bundesliga I expect we were all watching that and were excited.
"It looks a slower tempo, and rightly so because of the impact playing in front of a capacity crowd gives.
"That’s hugely disappointing but it’s understandable but they will have to adjust and zone in to blocking everything out and trying to produce our best performances."
