Quotes corner
Shamrock Rovers' Richie Towell: “I know I need to do a lot to get into an Irish squad.
“It was great to see [Rovers team-mates] Graham Burke and Danny Mandriou getting into the squad. That shows that Stephen is still keeping tabs on the league.
“Hopefully when I get a few games under my belt and start firing, doing what I know I can do, you never know what can happen.
“But at the moment it’s in the distance because we’ve such an important time coming up at Rovers. The European games are massive for us.”
