Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold demonstrated his quality yet again in England training, when battling against Jude Bellingham.
The 23-year-old provided a hat-trick of assists on Monday night as Gareth Southgate’s side won 10-0 in San Marino.
There has been a debate over how Gareth Southgate utilises the Reds right-back, having played in midfield and as a wingback in his last two starts for his country.
Though he faces competition for his place from Chelsea’s Reece James, among others, Alexander-Arnold showcased his ability once more by flooring Jude Bellingham in training.

Ahead of their routinely emphatic victory over San Marino, England posted a lengthy Inside Training video on their YouTube channel.
In one of the drills during the session, Alexander-Arnold was tasked with beating Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham as his marker.
The often Liverpool-linked midfielder faced up to the full-back on the left channel, before the right-back cut back inside on his stronger foot, leaving Bellingham floored in the process.
The duel between the pair in training is something that Reds fans would hope could happen in the future - though the 18-year-old has distanced himself from speculation linking him with a move to Anfield.
Alexander-Arnold has been a pivotal part of Liverpool’s free-scoring start to the season, contributing seven assists already this term
However, when asked about the positional challenges he has faced at international level, the defender gave an honest assessment of what he is aiming to achieve with England.
“I don’t like to put limitations on myself, but as of right now, my focus is on training to nail down a right-back spot,” he said .
“It’s about finding the right system, the right tactic to make that happen.
“Football is a strange game of people’s opinions. I think Klopp wants to see me come away and play a lot, he wants me to perform the way I do for the club.
“It probably plays on his mind why I’ve not been able to replicate the club form for country as well, but he’ll have his opinions and so will everyone else.”
