Arsenal legend Tony Adams has baffled fans with his assessment of Rob Holding ahead of the Gunners' clash at Leicester City.
Holding landed the start for the crucial Premier League clash in an Arsenal back three.
This led to Adams expressing concern at the decision from manager Unai Emery, who made the call which saw Sokratis make way.
David Luiz, Calum Chambers and Holding started against Leicester as the Gunners attempted to quieten the Foxes.
The confusing part of Adams' assessment was that he suggested the decision was the right one but he also highlighted the move as a concern too.
"I like the team the way he’s set up today apart from Holding," Adams told Sky Sports.
"They’re playing a back three and hopefully the clouds will lift today and we’ll have a great defensive performance.
"George Graham used to say if you haven’t got two good ones then play three.
"This lot may need four or five to be honest but I think it suits these guys.
"They are having problems in that department but I think the two holding players, (Lucas) Torreira and (Matteo) Guendouzi, are good and it’s a better set-up today.
"You always defend as a team but this system is best suited to this squad of players apart from Holding."
Here is the best of the reaction below from Arsenal fans.
