What to watch this weekend

March 03--FRIDAY

* "Sports Talk Live," 5:30 p.m. CSN: "Hoop Dreams" stars Arthur Agee and William Gates talk about how their lives have changed since appearing in the 1994 documentary, which airs on the same channel at 7 p.m. Sunday.

--Royals at Padres (exhibition), 8:10 p.m. MLBN: White Sox and Cubs have something in common: Both have their eyes on the Royals.

SATURDAY

--N.C. State at Notre Dame, 11 a.m. CBS: Irish have one more chance to get its offensive act together before the ACC tournament begins.

--American Cup gymnastics, noon, NBC: Showdown between Gabby Douglas and Maggie Nichols will be one to watch, but everyone's also talking about up-and-comer Donnell Whittenburg.

--North Carolina at Duke, 5:30 p.m. ESPN: Everything will be fine in this rematch (Duke won in February) as long as Grayson Allen doesn't start tripping. Literally.

* "30 Clubs in 30 Days," 6 p.m., MLBN: Former Cub Dan Plesac visits the team in Mesa on Saturday then treks over to Glendale on Sunday to cover the White Sox.

--Rockets at Bulls, 7:30 p.m. ABC: It's like a pageant to see who's more dysfunctional.

SUNDAY

--New York City FC at Fire, 1 p.m. CSN: Season opener for the Fire, who got a lift when Pope Francis received a team ball. But can he drag and scissor in that cassock?

--WGC-Cadillac Championship final round, 1 p.m. NBC: Course owner Donald Trump may or may not get face time at this tournament, which has been watched watched many, many times by millions and millions and millions of people.

--Red Wings at Blackhawks, 4 p.m. CSN: Like old times, Part II.
