What to expect when Roxy Ball Room opens in the old BHS café this week

Roxy Ball Room’s second Liverpool location officially opens this week - and it’s even bigger than the first.

Last month we announced that the new venue would open in Rainford Square on Friday, May 3 .

The new multi-million pound site will open in the Cavern Quarter this week, inside the former BHS café.

Roxy Ball Room Rainford Square will take up two floors and the bridge over Harrington Street that once linked the café to the rest of BHS.

The venue, which is the company’s eighth largest site to date, will feature a host of leisure and gaming facilities, including a four-lane bowling alley and nine-hold mini golf course.

The 16,000sq ft site will also feature classic Roxy Ball Room games such as ping pong, pool and beer pong  - with the addition of shuffleboard and arcade games.

Roxy Ball Room Rainford Square will also screen all the latest sport coverage from Sky and BT Sports.

The Rainford Square location is also set to offer private and semi-private hire areas for groups of all sizes.

Andy Evans, general manager, said: “Creating our biggest venue yet has been a really exciting experience, and we can’t wait to bring all of the different aspects of Roxy Ball Room together into one space.

“The sporting side of Roxy Ball Room Rainford Square is something completely new for us.
