What to expect from Katie Price's Mucky Mansion show - from green pool to messy rooms

Katie Price is starting the new year on a high after landing a brand new Channel 4 show Mucky Mansion exploring renovations to her home.

The 43-year-old has showed fans sneak peeks of the mansion in her YouTube channel, and fans were shocked to see in some parts the house is quite literally falling apart.

Fans were shocked to see a bright green pool, which definitely hadn't been used in years as well as rooms filled to the brim with stuff as the former glamour model admits to being a hoarder.

With the new series, viewers will get to have a closer look at each room in the mansion as well as the surrounding areas to see how Katie is going to fix her home.

Here's what we know about her humble abode...

Green Pool

The green pool will be getting tackled in her show (YouTube)

Katie has been filming in and around her pool for several years now.

The former glamour model tried to disprove claims she lived in a 'mucky' mansion back in 2019 and took fans on an intimate tour around her house via her YouTube channel.

The video showed rubbish piled up in a corner of the estate and the swimming pool full of green slimy water.

Keith Lemon even described the pool area on Through The Keyhole as a "swamp".

She refuted it in her video, saying her pool looked "a bit better than a swamp".

Last year, her children Jett and Bunny - who she shares with ex Kieran Hayler - wanted to go on a little frog hunt and they didn't have to go far.

In a YouTube video, Katie showed her kids taking to the rundown swimming pool to search for frogs and worms.

The swimming pool seemed to be the ultimate place for amphibians as the camera, at one point, zoomed into their bucket filled with seven frogs, a lizard and two slow worms.

Hoarding issues

The I'm A Celeb star has previously filmed the inside of her home and fans took note of the amount of stuff in every room.

On an episode of Through The Keyhole, viewers saw rooms filled with piles of clothes and bags. They were scattered all over the floors.

She was accused of being "filthy" but insisted that she was just a "hoarder".

With the renovations and upcoming series, viewers will hopefully get to see all her items being properly organised.

Pets and Cleanliness

Katie has many pets that are seen in her YouTube videos. They are usually running around her home.

People have even noticed them licking up spilt food from the floor and relieving themselves inside the house.

In 2018, a former regular visitor of her house claimed that the star's residence "smells like a petting zoo" and accused Katie of letting her animals poo indoors without cleaning it up.

The source explained to The Sun: "Dogs' mess has, on occasion, been left on the floor without being cleaned up, along with used kitty litter."

"Katie is of the mentality that a bit of dirt is good for you, but her home wasn't a pleasant place to be in."

Outside Mess

The area outside her home seems to always be filled with bags of trash, broken toys and more.

In the clip Katie filmed to show fans her home wasn't that bad, the grounds were filled with piles of rubbish.

She even had a dumpster sitting around the estate.

The teasers from her new show had the star getting to work on her mansion.

A caption of a promo post had read: "We loved it when @katieprice got stuck in with the dumper truck!

"Struggling with the drain pipes can they stop the flood? Find out shortly in @katiepricemuckymansion."

There's not long to wait as the series, Katie Price's Mucky Mansion will be airing on January 26 at 9pm.
