What to Expect From Healthpeak Properties' Q2 2025 Earnings Report

Valued at a market cap of $12.7 billion, Healthpeak Properties, Inc. (DOC) is a fully integrated real estate investment trust (REIT), headquartered in Denver, Colorado. The company owns, operates, and develops high-quality real estate focused on healthcare discovery and delivery. It is expected to announce its fiscal Q2 earnings for 2025 after the market closes on Thursday, Jul. 24.

Ahead of this event, analysts expect this healthcare REIT to report FFO of $0.46 per share, up 2.2% from $0.45 per share in the year-ago quarter. The company has met or surpassed Wall Street's FFO estimates in each of the last four quarters. In Q1, DOC’s FFO per share of $0.46 came in-line with the consensus estimates.

For fiscal 2025, analysts expect DOC to report FFO of $1.85 per share, up 2.2% from $1.81 per share in fiscal 2024. Its FFO per share is expected to further grow 4.9% year-over-year to $1.94 in fiscal 2026.

DOC has declined 6.5% over the past 52 weeks, lagging behind both the S&P 500 Index's ($SPX) 13.4% uptick and the Real Estate Select Sector SPDR Fund’s (XLRE) 9.5% return over the same time frame.

Shares of DOC tumbled 5.2% on the following day after its Q1 earnings release on Apr. 24. The company posted revenue of 702.9 million, up 15.9% from the year-ago quarter and marginally above the consensus estimates. Moreover, its FFO as adjusted improved 2.2% year-over-year to $0.46 per share and met the forecasted figure. A robust 16.5% annual rise in its rental and related revenues, higher resident fees, and interest income, coupled with a 3.5% decline in costs and expenses, aided the results.

Wall Street analysts are moderately optimistic about Healthpeak Properties’ stock, with a "Moderate Buy" rating overall. Among 18 analysts covering the stock, 11 recommend "Strong Buy," two suggest "Moderate Buy,” and five advise “Hold.” The mean price target for DOC is $22.50, which indicates a 23.5% potential upside from the current levels.
