Boomtown organisers have revealed what revellers can expect from two New Year's spectacles at their new Bristol venue.
Registration for tickets has now officially opened for the events happening at Area 404 on December 31 and January 1.
The sprawling new event space was launched earlier this month for an .
The festival’s HQ on Albert Road was transformed with the help of 150 riggers, construction workers, set painters and more who worked tirelessly for two months to bring it to life.
Now the space will be used to create a "dystopian dreamscape" during New Year's Eve.
The Facebook page for the event reads: "Step into the dystopian dreamscape of AREA 404 for a spectacular Boomtown New Year’s Eve gathering like no other, propelling the world of indoor parties into a new dimension entirely.
"You’re recruited to become a player and survivor in the nuclear quarantine zone of Area 404.
"You will be immersed in an otherworldly realm of sound and vision across the five distinct audio zones of our new Bristol complex."
Those attending the New Year's Day special can expect the "best house, techno, disco and cabaret all day long from some of the best LGBTQ+ collectives from the festival and beyond."
After the two shows on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, there will be another mini-series of events at the venue in March.
The Boomtown team will then work on their Hampshire festival over the summer before creating a new spectacle at Area 404 ready for next year.
