Amcor plc (AMCR), headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, develops, produces, and sells packaging for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, medical, home and personal care, and other products. Valued at $18.6 billion by market cap, the company, through its flexible and rigid packaging, specialty cartons, closures, and services, helps leading companies protect their products and differentiate their brands. The global consumer and healthcare packaging giant is expected to announce its fiscal first-quarter earnings for 2026 in the near future.
Ahead of the event, analysts expect AMCR to report a profit of $0.19 per share on a diluted basis, up 18.8% from $0.16 per share in the year-ago quarter. The company met the consensus estimates in three of the last four quarters while missing the forecast on another occasion.
For the full year, analysts expect AMCR to report EPS of $0.80, up 12.7% from $0.71 in fiscal 2025. Its EPS is expected to rise 10% year over year to $0.88 in fiscal 2027.

The company’s revenue was $5.1 billion, falling short of Wall Street's $5.2 billion forecast. AMCR expects full-year adjusted EPS in the range of $0.80 to $0.83.
Analysts’ consensus opinion on AMCR stock is reasonably bullish, with a “Moderate Buy” rating overall. Out of 16 analysts covering the stock, 10 advise a “Strong Buy” rating, one suggests a “Moderate Buy,” and five give a “Hold.” AMCR’s average analyst price target is $10.74, indicating a notable potential upside of 33.4% from the current levels.
