What Timo Werner and Tammy Abraham thought about Hakim Ziyech during Chelsea vs Sheffield United

BBC pundit Tim Cahill was full of praise for Chelsea star Hakim Ziyech following the convincing 4-1 Premier League victory over Sheffield United.

The Blues ran out comfortable winners at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening and even though Ziyech didn't get on the scoresheet, he was at the heart of the hosts' superb play.

The £33m summer signing set up both Ben Chilwell and Thiago Silva for their goals as Frank Lampard's side moved up to third place in the league table.

Former Everton midfielder Cahill admitted attacking stars like Timo Werner and Tammy Abraham will love playing with him as Ziyech helps to get the best out of them in the final third.

"What a signing," said Cahill on Match of the Day on Saturday evening. "It was the Hakim Ziyech show. He was just incredible.

"The positions he took up, he always plays forward and it’s the vision. It’s what he sees that creates chances.

"There’s so many chances that come from his left foot, you can see why he’s world class and Chelsea have signed him because there is no player that has created more chances than him in the Premier League this season.

"He can score goals, he creates and he puts set plays on a plate."

Cahill then explained what Ziyech's teammates would have been thinking during the game.

"The players in the team know he’ll play forward and they can make their runs."
