What time will Taoiseach Micheal Martin make pubs announcement today? All you need to know

Decision day for pubs is here with NPHET and the Cabinet meeting on whether phase four can go ahead next Monday.

The National Public Health Emergency Team will meet this morning to make a recommendation which will then be discussed at Cabinet.

The reopening of pubs without food, raising of gathering limits indoors and outside as well as nightclubs are on the agenda of things to be discussed.

Here's all you need to know about when to expect an announcement;

What time will Taoiseach Micheal Martin address the nation?

The Taoiseach will make a public address after the Cabinet meeting once a decision on phase four is reached.

At the moment that is expected around 6:00pm but with a lengthy Cabinet discussion expected it could be delayed.

The Taoiseach will be joined by the Tánaiste, Leo Varadkar TD, Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly TD, and the acting Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Ronan Glynn.

The public address will be streamed live on RTE and Virgin Media on both TV and their social media channels.
