Who is Joe Duffy?
Donegal native Duffy holds an impressive professional MMA record of 16-4, however has struggled to make a name for himself at the very top.
Duffy arrived at the UFC in 2015 having just one loss to his name, and picked up first round stoppages in his first two fights against Jake Lindsey and Ivan Jorge.
He was then faced with his toughest opponent to date in the UFC, as he went the distance with former interim lightweight champion Dustin Poirier.

Poirier picked up the decision victory which eased a lot of the hype surrounding the Irish star at the time.
However, he bounced back in tremendous fashion, with a 25 second first round submission victory over Mitch Clarke and a decision win over Reza Medadi.
After two big wins for 'Irish Joe', things came crashing back down as he then suffered back-to-back defeats against James Vick and Diakiese.
Back in 2010, before the suits and trash-talking, a young Conor McGregor was choked out by his compatriot in just 38 seconds of their Cage Warriors clash.
Who is Joel Alvarez?
The Spanish fighter holds a record of 16-2, but is far less experienced than the Irishman in the UFC.
Alvarez has only two fights in the UFC, and his career in the organisation got off to a disastrous start with a decision loss to Damir Ismagulov in February last year.
The 27-year-old defeated Danilo Belluardo in his second UFC bout, and will be looking to add another win to his record against Duffy.
The fight could be considered a must-win for 'Irish Joe', as a third consecutive defeat may just mean the end for him in the UFC.
